description:
America had invented and even began to commercialize many of the technologies developed into mass markets by the EU, Japan, and South Korea. However, the 3IR failed in the last two decades to move ahead of corporate interests while at the same time recognizing the growing importance of climate change for the future. The USA lived in denial since the early 1990s which became apparent for both Democrat and Republican Presidential Administrations in their lack of pro-active polices globally through the Kyoto Accords and most recently the Copenhagen UN Conference (December 2009).
