description:
Distributed collection management. We provide, support, and enhance iRODS, the Integrated Rule Oriented Data Management System, an open source data management, data preservation, and data grid software system, to research communities around the world. iRODS runs on laptops to large scale high performance clusters and scales to tens of millions of files and petabytes of data. We've been actively developing iRODS since 2006 as a 'next generation' project following our SRB (Storage Resouce Broker) system.
