description:
Adapting PCIT to a home-based service could benefit many families who have difficulty accessing clinic-based services. However, translating PCIT into a home-based service necessitates changes in how the treatment is provided, with unavoidable changes in service delivery, which may increase or decrease its effectiveness. This presentation describes the results of a randomized controlled trial in a community mental health setting, testing the efficacy of PCIT compared with treatment as usual (TAU).
