Information for any faculty member or scientist working to improve global health who have an interest in exploring challenging research ideas who are contemplating applying to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's Grand Challenges Explorations Grant Program. The program includes researchers from a variety of universities who have received previous Gates Foundation Grand Challenges Explorations awards and who have been reviewers. Yun-Ling Wong, the Program Officer from the Grand Challenges Explorations program joins to provide context for the initiative and to answer questions from participants.
